Lou Reizner had already chalked up success with such greats as Rod Stewart, David Bowie, and others, when Trevor was offered the chance to write a composition for a movie he was involved with. Living on the dole was a short song recorded by the Cimarons, a popular reggae band associated with Bob Marley, and even Sir Paul McCartney. Due to the rushed need to get the production onto the film score, Trevor with his friend Russell King sang the song on a cassette tape, which was used as a guiding track for the band. Only, that guiding track was apparently not erased from the original recording, leaving their voices faintly heard on the album!
